Announcement: 'Conviction' Cast

With one week of rehearsals already behind us, it is time to share with the world the rest of the team behind Conviction. They are a talented, hard working group and we are incredibly excited to be working with them. Look out for a joint Q&A session with the cast that will be posted later this week!

MILADA- Polly Attala

After a childhood performing across Europe, Polly went on to graduate with a first class Acting BA in 2010, studying for a further year with the Impulse Company. Her work encompasses acting, writing and directing and she is part of the creative team at [Foreign Affairs]. Recent theatre credits include Three Sisters, A Doll's House and Helmer Hardcore.

 

LUDMILA- Gabriella Gadsby

Gabriella graduated from East 15s Physical Theatre course and has worked as a Deviser, Performer, Dramaturgy and Assistant Director since. Her more notable experiences have been at Theatre Royal Glyndebourne, The Curve, Theatre Delicatessen, Richmix, Ovalhouse, Young Vic Studios, The Old Red lion and Pentameters Theatre Hampstead. In 2011, she was part of an ensemble that won the 'BBC Performing Arts Dance Innovation Award' for our collaborative work on Taj with Hathi productions at The Curve. Currently, she is working with two theatre companies; immersive theatre company Infinite Experience Arts who are currently touring various festivals with their interactive piece Welcome Home, and Playful Moon Theatre, her own company she co-founded.

 

PETR/VIKTOR- Jamie Coleman

Jamie trained at Arts Ed. He has worked with Butterfly Theatre on multiple productions, including As You Like It and The Importance Of Being Earnest at the St James Theatre. Other shows include Alice: A New Musical (St James Theatre), An Innocent Man/Whodunit (Hen & Chickens Theatre), Variation On A Theme (Finborough Theatre), The Hotel Room: Undercover (White Bear Theatre) and Macbeth (Rudolf Steiner Theatre).

 

JOSEF- Jason Denyer

Jason graduated from Drama Studio London in 2002 and then went on to augment this training by completing courses with The Impulse Company and The Actor's Temple. He has appeared in a wide variety of theatrical productions ranging from absurdly comedic Scandinavian productions, Shakespeare, Checkov, Ibsen and a host of modern plays as well as numerous independent film productions.

 

JANA- Holly Donovan

Holly is an experienced theatre and film actress, as well as a classically trained violinist. Holly began 2016 at The Theatre Royal Stratford East performing the winner of the Lost Theatre’s One Act Play No Place. Other theatre credits include The Man Who at the Tristan Bates Theatre, as well as reams of Classical Summer Productions each year. Holly spent 9 months travelling the country in a National Tour of Othello playing Desdemona, as well as a National Tour of Hedda Gabler as Thea Elvsted. Film credits include filming as the lead- Cora, in the Independent film Siren's Song with ElevenFortyTwo Productions. Holly also voices both heroes and villains in many prestigious video games with Square Enix and Lionhead Studios (TBA).
